Your TST Booking
Once you have completed your booking online, a confirmation number and details of your online booking is immediately provided. Anytime you call or email us at TST include your confirmation number and last name. By the way, thanks for your business!
Travel Insurance
Do you have adequate travel insurance coverage which includes Medical, Baggage, Cancellation or Trip Interruption, should it be necessary? At TST, we strongly recommend that you carry Deluxe Package Travel Insurance coverage - don't be underinsured. Your vacation is an investment and should be insured for unforeseen risks – make sure you have peace of mind when travelling, check out the coverage(s) available with RBC Travel Insurance or ask our TST Consultants for details.
E-Ticket Documentation
It's simple - all online purchases are handled by electronic ticketing. Therefore all packages, including hotel, car and flights will be issued as E-Ticket Documents. Depending on the time-frame of your booking, E-Ticket Documents will be forwarded within 2-3 weeks prior to departure. It is IMPORTANT - that you print off and carry on your person all such E-Ticket Documents. Without proof of such documents at the Airport you may be denied boarding without these.
Where E-Ticket Documentation is not in Place
No fear, our TST Consultants will be in touch with you to advise regarding airport ticket counter pickup on day of departure or other arrangements.
Your Travel Documents, Such as Passports & Visa's
It is your responsibility to ensure that you carry the proper travel documents with you such as passports, visas, etc. If you have any questions, call or email us and we will direct you to the appropriate consulate office if necessary. TST is NOT responsible for passengers who are denied travel due to incorrect travel documentation or other reasons relating to immigration control.
Seat Selection
Depending upon the Tour Operator, there is a charge of anywhere from $10. and up for advance seat selection. Ask our TST Consultants for assistance with this for you. Let's face it, getting to the destination is part of the "holiday," some flights offer "club or select" class service – again our TST Consultants can help you with this.
Tourists Landing Cards
Some countries require such landing cards upon arrival, if it applies to you, they will be provided onboard the airplane for completion before landing.
Your Flight Times, Baggage Allowance, etc
Based on your airport of departure, go online and check to verify your departure time within 12 hours prior to departure. As for allowed baggage(s), weight and sizes for both check-in and carry on items, these are changing almost weekly depending on the Airline or Tour Operators rules and restrictions. Again, we don't make the rules but feel free to ask us to clarify the latest information we have or check each airlines website for latest baggage allowances. If your baggage is overweight, you will be asked to pay surcharges.
Arrival Transfers
Where transfers are included in your package, be sure to walk out from the baggage claim area and keep on going until you see the sign of the Tour Operator such as SIGNATURE, TRANSAT, SUNQUEST, etc... Identify yourself and resort name and they will direct you to the correct transfer vehicle.
Destination Assistance
Need help in booking a local tour, or perhaps something is not quite right with your accommodations, etc? Be sure to contact the Destination Representatives at the location, usually a tour desk is located in the lobby. These Destination Representatives have arrival orientation talks and are there to give your "holiday" that extra WOW – ask them for assistance and they will do all they can to assist you. Also, if your package includes return airport transfers they will advise regarding the meeting place and time of departure.
Departure Fees
Presently, Cuba requires payment when leaving their country, the present amount is $25 Cuban Convertible Pesos, which must be paid in cash and in the Convertible Pesos currency.
