Being in the office has its perks. Sure it's not as great as hanging out in the Caribbean sun or cruising the high seas but I do still have some fun. Those fun in-office moments a lot of times come when we're visited by a representative from a tour company who inform the staff about their exciting tour packages.

This entry concludes the blogs two weeks of Cancun content. It’s been a blast and I want to reiterate that Cancun and the Riviera Maya are great getaway destinations for everyone whether they want to party in the hotel zone or have a romantic getaway at an adult’s only resort in Riviera Maya.

Our group stayed in three different resorts during our whirlwind tour of Cancun and Riviera Maya. You have (hopefully) already read about my time at the El Dorado Royale and below is the recap of the other two. I loved the Ocean Coral. The lead in category is junior suite so there’s lots of room no matter which category is booked.

As the resort tours continue I’m learning that wireless Internet is not as standard as I initially believed. So if that’s something important to you make sure you check the arrangements at the resort before you book. Now without further adieu more resort reviews.

Hola. It was hot today in Riviera Maya, which is great for vacationers not so great for our group who had to walk around all day. Today we got the tour of the El Dorado Royale, the resort that we were staying in the past two nights. Aside from the rooms we were staying in, which all have king size beds and a Jacuzzi, there is another section of the resort called the El Dorado Casitas Royale.

It was a jammed pack day of resort inspections and I’m quite tired and cannot think of anything witty to write here. The writer’s block might have something to do with the tequila tasting session but more of that in an upcoming post. So where should you stay in Riviera Maya? Depends what you’re looking for.

So sit back, relax and vacation vicariously through Amigo. As for my other recent trips be sure to check out the TravelTST Facebook page for photos.

I like to keep my weekends busy so this past weekend I zipped down on the Amtrak to Seattle and then took a cruise ship back, not a bad way to spend a couple of days. I left Vancouver early Friday morning on the Amtrak. I decided to take first class and it was pretty comfy, nice leather seats and lots of legroom although I heard coach wasn't bad either.

I decided to take a day off and step away from the office so I’ve blown into Calgary for the night. Now I've been to Calgary before, once when I was 10 and again last year on a bike trip so I’d never gotten a chance to just wander around the city so that’s what I did today.
