Sunwing expands Europe service

Europe bound passengers will have another flight option this summer. Sunwing is expanding its European service with the addition of six routes from Toronto to Europe. Service from Toronto to London's Gatwick airport will run four times weekly while flights to Charles De Gaulle in Paris will go twice a week.

Dominican officials says travellers need not panic about cholera

Travellers heading to the Dominican Republic don't need to panic after a case of cholera was confirmed in the country. Fears that the cholera epidemic currently ravaging their island neighbour Haiti could spread to the Dominican was inflamed after a 32-year-old Haitian construction worker returned to the Dominican earlier this month with symptoms of the disease according to Travelinfo.ca.

According to a recent survey of 3,400 travellers done by FutureBrand, Canada is the No. 1 place they want to visit. After finishing in 12th place five years ago Canada has been on a steady climb. The success is definitely linked to the Winter Olympics last February. Other reasons for this triumph are because of more and better-targeted marketing by the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC).
