How truthful is Tripadvisor?

Tripadvisor is being investigated by the UKs Advertising Standards Authority on allegations that some reviews on its website are fake. A complaint has been lodged with the ASA by KwikChex.com, a firm that helps companies look after their Internet reputations, alleging that Tripadvisor has "epidemic levels" of false reviews.

Air Canada employees hit the picket lines

Air Canada's airport customer service and call centre staff hit the picket line this morning after the Canadian Auto Workers union and the airline failed to come to an agreement. Air Canada continues to remind passengers that flights will go ahead as scheduled. The airline recommends that passengers utilize their self-serve options such as online check-in and if possible to not check bags.

Air Canada customer service employees could hit the picket line Monday

  Air Canada’s customer service and sales staff could walk off the job Monday. The Canadian Auto Workers union which represents the employees and Air Canada have reached an impasse in negotiations. One of the big sticking points is the airlines desire to introduce a different pension plan for new employees according to the CBC. The union could serve their 72 hour strike notice tonight. 2011 expected to be another “active” hurricane season

The 2011 hurricane season is expected to be an "active" one according to Environment Canada. In a media release the department quotes predictions from the United States' National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration which says this hurricane season should see 12-18 named storms, 6-10 hurricanes and 3-6 major hurricanes.
