Hola. It was hot today in Riviera Maya, which is great for vacationers not so great for our group who had to walk around all day. Today we got the tour of the El Dorado Royale, the resort that we were staying in the past two nights. Aside from the rooms we were staying in, which all have king size beds and a Jacuzzi, there is another section of the resort called the El Dorado Casitas Royale.

It was a jammed pack day of resort inspections and I’m quite tired and cannot think of anything witty to write here. I’m still trying to figure out what time it is here in Cancun, I think it’s two hours ahead of B.C. (my home) but so was Puerto Vallarta which is on the other side of Mexico so I’m a little confused. Anyways the resort their putting us up in for the first two nights is fantastic. It’s called the El Dorado Royale and it’s about 15 minutes from the Cancun airport.

More bad news for Mexicana Airlines. On August 8 the company announced that its cash flow for day-to-day operations had dried up forcing it to cancel flights. One reason for the cash flow crunch was IATA’s decision to suspend the carrier’s BSP sales channel, forcing it to suspend the sale and issuing of tickets indefinitely, with serious repercussions for MexicanaClick and MexicanaLink sales.
