WestJet testing non-stop Vegas flights from Prince George and Hamilton

Las Vegas is calling and now the people of Prince George and Hamilton can answer. WestJet has launched temporary non-stop service from both cities to Las Vegas which will run twice weekly for the next 11 weeks. According to WestJet's John MacLeod the routes are being tested and if they prove to be feasible could be re-intoduced as the WestJet fleet grows.

Sunwing and Signature axe the tax

We all hate tax but thanks to Sunwing and Signature if you book a sun vacation soon you won't have to pay as much of it. Until June 17 Sunwing and Signature are axing the fuel surcharge on their vacation packages to the south which means you save $160 per person. Book in the next week for travel anytime between July 1 - October 31 to save.

Air Canada employees give strike notice but don’t expect impact on flight schedule

The union representing Air Canada's call centre and airport customer service employees has notified the airline that they intend to strike if the two sides cannot reach an agreement. Those employees could walk off the job as soon as 12:01 Tuesday morning.

Kids fly and stay free in Florida with Transat

Once there there are several hotels where kids only have to pay the tax. Packages start at $199 plus tax for adults. Tropicana Las Vegas reestablishes itself as a strip hotspot

The Tropicana is one of Las Vegas’ elder statesmen. Opened in 1957 the hotel has seen more than five decades of change on the strip. Now it’s joining in on the fun.
