Travel+Leisure has released the results of their annual World’s Best Awards Readers’ Survey and for the second consecutive year it’s Singita Grumeti Reserves in Tanzania that sits atop the world’s best hotel category.
For good reason too.
The Singita Grumeti Reserves is made up of three luxury lodges on the Serengeti which allow guests to stay in luxurious accommodations while admiring the beauty of Africa’s geography and wildlife.
The Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino, B.C. was voted Canada’s best resort while the Auberge Saint-Antoine in Quebec City was named the country’s best city hotel.
Bangkok was voted the world’s best city while on the water Crystal Cruises took the title for best large-ship cruise line and Seabourn for best small-ship cruise line.
Other Canadian winners include Vancouver Island, which was voted the continental US and Canada’s best island and the Fairmont Chateau Whistler’s spa, which was voted the country’s number one hotel spa.
There are way more categories and you can check out the full results on Travel+Leisure’s website.
