Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport's Oval Office

Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport's Oval Office.

Greetings all.

I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend celebrating Canada’s 145th birthday.

Our southern neighbours will be celebrating their nation’s birthday tomorrow so I figured I’d share the story below.

Medford, Oregon is about 2,800 miles from Washington D.C. but they share a rather unique connection, an oval office.

I’m sure many of you are familiar with the Oval Office in D.C., it’s located in the White House and a certain high-ranking person works there.

That office has now been replicated in Medford’s Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport.

“During these tough economic times, you have to be creative and think outside the box to generate revenue,” said Airport Director Bern Case.

The airport will rent out their Oval Office for meetings, ceremonies and special events.

Medford’s Oval Office will be unveiled at an open house on July 4.

The question now is which Canadian airport will build a replica of the Prime Minister’s office to attract more dollars?
