• Happy 2012!

  I hope in 2011 you all took some fantastic trips and that in 2012 you continue to explore.

  Now since this is the first blog entry of 2012 I wanted to write about something happy.

  Well what’s happier than Disneyland?

  I mean it says Happiest Place on Earth right on the sign.

  Well come 6 am on Feb. 29 – that’s right it’s a leap year – Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will open and remain open for 24 straight hours.

  Billed as “One More Disney Day” it will be the first time the parks are open for 24 straight hours.

  I personally find something very appealing about careening down Splash Mountain at midnight.

  So if your New Year’s resolution was to go to Disneyland the end of February is the time to do it.
