Deals

With a reputation (especially with deals right now) as the most cost-effective vacations, all-inclusive resorts are a great choice when traveling. Most all-inclusive resorts are in tropical climates, so if you enjoy sun, the beach and ocean maybe an all inclusive resort is for you.

What Isn’t Included
There are certain activities at different resorts that will cost more money but in general water sports equipment, like jet skis and motor boats are not included. Of course off-property tours and sometimes transportation to and from the resort are also extra. Ask your travel expert.

What Is Included

Your Room
Rooms at all-inclusive resorts generally include a king or two double beds, television, telephone and a private bathroom. Many all-inclusive resorts also have in-room mini-bars and in-room safes (these may cost extra and are worth it).

What to Do
Most all-inclusive resorts feature swimming pools, a spa, a fitness center and a tour help desk. Some all-inclusive resorts feature (or have nearby) a golf course and tennis courts. Some resorts also have children’s programs.

Dining
All meals, snacks and beverages (premium alcohol may be an extra charge) are included. Many all-inclusive resorts have several restaurants and different bars to choose from.

Activities
All-inclusive vacations often include some land and water activities in the package. Popular activities include water sports such as paddle boats, snorkeling and sometimes scuba diving. Also included are beach sports such as volleyball.

Taxes and Gratuities
All taxes and gratuities are included in the package. Many all-inclusive resorts forbid tipping. Some resorts do not follow this so ask your travel expert.
