All-inclusive vacation packages usually save money, as accommodations, meals, drinks and activities are typically included.

These are the four basic kinds of all-inclusive vacations: cruises, tours, resort vacations and specialty packages (like singles vacations, group vacations, family trips, etc.). All these packages have different things included.

• Cruise packages can include the cruise fee, an entertainment budget and transport back and forth, but won’t include seaport trips, or entry fees for port attractions.
• Touring packages usually include lodging, admission fees to attractions on the tour, a meal budget and travel/tour.
• Resort packages include transportation, lodging, some sports, selected spa services or other services and meals.
• Specialty packages are targeted to specific groups like couples, families or singles of either sex. These packages usually include all standard expenses.

When you are first checking these vacation packages, it can seem that they are more expensive. When you add up the cost of paying for a vacation, including each item you are going to spend on, you get a very different picture. They are often less expensive.
